Our Story
Our journey began in 1999 with the founding of Kensington Research and Recovery, Inc. (KRR), where we established ourselves as trusted experts in property tax matters throughout Cook County, IL and eventually many areas in Texas as well. For over two decades, we've helped tens of thousands of property owners with property tax services including recovering refunds and lowering their tax burden.
As we worked closely with homeowners on their property tax challenges, we recognized another significant opportunity to help our clients save money: their monthly mortgage payments. This insight led us to establish Kensington Lending Services, Inc. in 2022, bringing the same commitment to excellence and client-focused service that made KRR successful.
Between our two companies, we wanted to offer our clients a one-stop shop for their largest home expenses. With that vision in mind, we're also soon expanding into providing energy savings (gas and electric) to our clients at KRR, further cementing our position as your comprehensive partner for reducing home costs.
